De Rijk, Jeroen

De Rijk, Jeroen, percussionist; b. The Hague, 7 February 1962. Jeroen de Rijk, is a free-lance professional percussionist based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. After playing with 'a million local bands', he is now active in studios, live situations, composer/producer and as a clinician for Latin Percussion. In the polls of the national drums and percussion magazine 'Slagwerkkrant', Jeroen was chosen the best percussionist of the Benelux from 1998 until 2002 five consecutive times. Together with Frits Landesbergen he runs a Jazz label. 'Baileo Music Productions' since 1998.
