Ito, Takeshi

Ito, Takeshi, alto sax and possibly lyricon, b. Fukuoka, Japan, 15 March 15, 1954.

Started studying piano and violin as a child, performed in brass bands and the Rhythm Society band at Nihon University, winning numerous college band competitions.  Known for performances with Masahiro Ando at the club, The Square.
