Leib, Sara, vocalist; b. Los Angeles, CA, 21 December 1981. Sara had music lessons from the time she was six, and began taking voice lessons in high school. She attended high school at the Hamilton Music Academy in Los Angeles, and sang in the 1999 Grammy Jazz Ensemble, where she earned her scholarship to Berklee College of Music. After two years she transferred to New England Conservatory to complete her bachelor's degree and study with Dominique Eade, Jerry Bergonzi, and Steve Lacy. Sara currently lives and performs in Los Angeles, CA. She has studied and worked with Kevin Mahogany, Dr. Ron McCurdy, Walter Beasley, Kurt Elling, and Dave Leibman.
