Moriyama, Takeo

Moriyama, Takeo, drums, b. Katsunuma, Yamanashi, Japan, 27 January 1945.

He made his reputation in the original Yosuke Yamashita Trio and with his own groups. Moriyama is a graduate of the Tokyo School for the Fine Arts percussion department.  He has played at European festivals, such as the Avant-Garde Japanese Art Festival in Paris (1986).
