Sanguinetti, Alex (Luis Alejandro Sanguinetti)
Sanguinetti, Alex [Luis Alejandro Sanguinetti], drums; b. Buenos Aires, Argentina, 18 November 1958. Besides Buenos Aires, he's lived in London (1980,1981), Berlin (1982-1983), Hamburg (1985), Frankfurt (1986-1991), New York (1991), and Munich (1999 to date).
Sanguinetti has played with Clark Terry, Kenny Wheeler, Gong, Rick Margitza, Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano, Conrad Herwig, Renato Chicco, Fareed Haque, Walter Norris, Ralph Lalama, Walt Weiskopf, Gail Wynters, Markus Becker, Marc Copland, Herb Geller, Barbara Dennerlein, Mauro Grossi, Santi Debriano, Wilson de Oliveira, Jim Snidero, Wolfgang Lackerschmid, Attila Zoller, Bireli Lagrene, Jim Rotundi, Chris Byars, Ari Roland, Michael Sagmeister, Rob Amster, Pat O'Leary,

He was the Argentinian representative of Drummers Collective, New York (1994-1999), a Jazz Teacher of ITMC (Representatives of PIT - Musicians Institute, California, USA in Argentina) (1993) and at the moment is teaching privately in Munich, Germany. Also, many guest workshops and clinics. He's shared the stage at clinics with Vinnie Colaiuta, Gerry Brown, Simon Phillips, Chester Thompson, Sonny Emory, Jojo Mayer, Danny Gottlieb, Kenny Clare and Alphonse Mouzon.
