Simon, Todd (Marc), trumpet and flugelhorn, composer and arranger; b. Santa Monica, CA, 2 March 1977.

Simon has been playing many kinds of music since he started high school. He has had the opportunity to work with Charlie Haden, Leo Smith, Steve Lacy,  Wynton Marsalis, Greg Hutchinson, Brad Meldau. He freelances in over five bands now (including the Jade Vincent Experiment, Weapon of Choice, Ocean 11, and the BreAkeStra) and gets a steady  amount of recording/arranging gigs in all styles of music from straight-ahead, experimental, hip-hop, Jamaican (ska, dub, reggae), soul/funk, drum and bass/electronica, etc. He has worked with Macy Gray and with "Ming and FS."
