Stankiewicz, Kuba (Jakub Lech), pianist; b. Wroclaw, Poland, 7 December 1963. His father is Leszek Stankiewicz, born 1930 in Dabrowa Gornicza (Poland), an engineer of chemistry, amateur jazz pianist. His mother is Danuta Stankiewicz born 1930 in Poznan (Poland). His sister is Ewa Stankiewicz born 1967 in Wroclaw (Poland).
Stankiewicz has a diploma in piano performance 1990 Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA. He studied with Paul Schmeling and Ray Santisi. His wife is Inga Lewandowska - Stankiewicz, singer. His daughter is Alicja Stankiewicz born September 27, 2002.
